Name: "Walking on Water"

Biography: Shot late in the afternoon as the light was fading quickly on the Mississippi River. This shot did nothing for me in color so I converted it to black and white and bumped up the contrast to give it a grainy look. Seagulls are one of my favorite birds to shoot as they seem so elegant and agile to me. Swooping down in an instant to score an easy meal or pickpocket an unwary rival, sometimes with silly antics and sometimes gracefully "Walking On Water".
