Name: "Foggy Shoreline"

Captured: October 4, 2005
Door County, Wisconsin

Biography: In my opinion bad weather equals great photo opportunities and this day was no exception. Driving across a road that divided a lake in half, I stopped to have a look at the water. There was no other traffic on the road and as I stepped out into the crisp fall air my senses were tingling. My eyes traveled up and down this cold rocky shore taking in the fog that hung silently in the air covering the water like a soft blanket. I felt as if I could walk along the water's edge for hours, like walking with an old friend, exchanging no words. It is a place that I often return to in my mind, the quiet cool of "The Foggy Shoreline".
