Name: "Wounded Beauty"

Biography: I found this little beauty in an open field when I stopped to take some shots of a dead tree. I was able to click off about 50 shots while this Monarch sat patiently as if we’d had an appointment. With a damaged wing I wasn’t sure if it could fly, but all of a sudden it quickly lifted off and was gone.
